鍼灸治療は最新の過敏性腸症候群ガイドラインで推奨されてます

病気には医師など医療従事者が参考にする診療ガイドラインがあります。

もちろん過敏性腸症候群にもガイドラインがあり、その中には鍼灸についての評価も書かれています。

2020年に最新のガイドラインが発行され、鍼灸への評価が大きく変化しました。

個人的には、「6年でこんなにも劇的に扱いが変わるのか！」とびっくり半分嬉しさ半分です。

今回は、ガイドライン内で鍼灸の評価がどのように変わったか紹介します。

過敏性腸症候群診療ガイドラインとは

日本消化器病学会から「機能性消化管疾患診療ガイドライン」が発行されています。

このガイドラインは、機能性ディスペプシアや炎症性腸疾患など病気ごとに分かれており、その1つが過敏性腸症候群のガイドラインです。

2020年に最新版が発行され、最新の論文を元に改定が行われました。

内容は病態、診断、治療、予後などに分かれ、40のトピックスがあります。

トピックスの1つに「IBSに補完代替医療は有用か？」という項目があり、鍼灸治療について評価されています。

過敏性腸症候群に対する鍼灸治療の評価はどう変わったか

具体的に「IBSに補完代替医療は有用か？」についての変化を見ていきましょう。

旧版(2014年版)の内容

「文献が多いのは鍼治療に関するものである。メタアナリシスによると鍼治療はIBS症状やQOLにプラセボ以上の改善をもたらさなかった。」

最新版(2020年版)の内容

「鍼治療については複数のRCT、2つのメタアナリシスでIBS、IBS-D（注:下痢型）に対する有効性が示されている。標準治療法または抗うつ薬にうまく反応しなかった場合は、代替として鍼治療を行うことを提案する。(中略)灸治療については、IBS、IBS-Dに対する複数のRCTと2つのメタアナリシスがあり、全般的IBS症状改善、腹部膨満および排便頻度が改善することが示された。」

（最新版のガイドラインは2021年6月現在、無料公開されていません）

治療効果なしから代替提案に

プラセボ（治療効果なし）扱いから、代替として提案というのは大幅な変更だと思います。

明らかに言及される分量も増えており、「絶対に鍼は効果がある」と実感しながら治療してきた身としては報われた気持ちです。

これも、6年間の間に世界中の研究者が論文を積み上げたおかげで、本当に感謝しかありません。

ガイドライン作成に参考とされた論文は一般公開されているので、いくつか紹介します。
